In a shocking twist, Into the Badlands has just revealed that Cressida (Lorraine Toussaint) has the Gift - or at least something that looks like it - except with one major difference. In a pivotal moment in the episode, Cressida’s eyes turned blood red instead of black. While Into the Badlands has finally answered several questions about Sunny’s past, the mystery of the Gift is continuing to deepen. It was recently revealed that the Gift isn’t a weapon, though it’s also been said that it was responsible for the apocalypse....

Apple.Pro points to postings from a Weibo user which claims to have a prototype model of the next-generation iPhone. As you can in the images (above and after the break), the unit appears identical to the iPhone 4. The software running on the device is akin to the iPhone test software that we have seen many times before on test units. The 5 megapixel device with iOS 4.0 appears to show up as a first-generation iPod touch in iTunes, which is fairly odd....

We heard earlier this month that Instagram was planning support for long-form videos of up to an hour, and a new report suggests that the feature will launch today, with a few more details emerging … The latest report, also from TechCrunch, is that the new feature will be launched at an event in San Francisco at 9am Pacific. The site reports that while videos of up to one hour will be allowed, the company is encouraging a target of ten minutes, with celebrities and other established content creators leading the way....

Doctor Strange gave Thanos the Time Stone in Avengers: Infinity War, and a new theory tries to explain why. The first betas of iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 were released to developers today, and they re-enabled the highly-anticipated SharePlay feature. This suggests that Apple plans to release SharePlay to the public as part of iOS 15.1 later this fall. SharePlay was added to iOS 15 beta 2 all the way back in June. In August, however, Apple removed SharePlay from the iOS 15 beta and said the feature wouldn’t be included in the first version of iOS 15 released to the public....

Following the release of iOS 15.2 beta 2 to developers on Tuesday, Apple confirmed that the update enables child communication safety features in iMessage. However, the update also adds the “Hide My Email” option directly in the Mail app for iCloud+ subscribers. “Hide My Email” was announced earlier this year as part of iOS 15 and macOS Monterey, and it lets users generate random email addresses to log into apps and websites as a way to enforce data privacy....
