Indian iPhone production has begun at a new Wistron plant, initially with test production before mass production begins next month. Wistron has also begun recruiting 10,000 staff for its newest plant. The move reflects another step forward in Apple’s more ambitious manufacturing plans for the country … The New Indian Express reports. Narasapura is home to Wistron’s third Indian iPhone plant, which started production on earlier models around the start of the year....

OnePlus today announced on their forums that the initial shipment of the OnePlus 2 will be delayed by 2-3 weeks. While the OnePlus 2 will start shipping to consumers in Europe on or after August 11, the first batch of the handset to North America will only be shipped after 2-3 weeks. The company cites “production schedules” as the reason behind this delay.
